Archi Cafe is a Brooklyn-based concept bringing together a neighborhood coffee space and plant shop while celebrating the deep coffee roots of the Caribbean. Inspired by my Puerto Rican heritage and New York City’s vibrant coffee culture, the goal was to create a brand that could bring those worlds together.
The Approach
The identity pairs bold, rounded typography with an earthy palette inspired by Puerto Rico’s landscapes and the greenery of the plant-filled space. A playful set of icons, influenced by Taíno symbols, adds character and gives the brand a flexible visual language. Together, the system feels approachable and full of personality while still carrying a strong sense of culture.
The Outcome
Coffee and plants share connection through cultivation, care, and the environments that shape them. Archi draws from Caribbean coffee culture, Puerto Rican heritage, and nature and reinterprets them through a contemporary Brooklyn lens. The result is an identity that feels connected to its roots.
